Hey, there, I'm Shinah - a whiskey-loving, curse-word slinging, Harvard-trained former corporate attorney who left everything behind to find a more liberated, joyful and honest life.

I spent my entire life on the "proper" path. I went to an Ivy League college, then a prestigious Law School, then worked my butt off in a big international law firm.

But, after one too many days of uninspiring work and nights of sleeping under my desk, I decided I had to reclaim my life! I quit my law job and explored so many creative avenues - knitting, woodworking, drawing, graphic design. But CALLIGRAPHY is what I fell in love with.

That's how Crooked Calligraphy began in 2016. Over the past seven years, I've grown my love for calligraphy into a business beyond my wildest dreams. I've worked for huge brands like Disney, Anthropologie, and Johnson & Johnson and I've taught thousands of students how to do calligraphy and start their own creative businesses.

My favorite work has always been encouraging my students to do things they never thought possible. I do that now through Crooked Calligraphy's signature program: the "Pro Calligrapher Bundle". This comprehensive program teaches students how to do pointed-pen calligraphy, develop a sellable calligraphy style, and launch their own profitable calligraphy side business.
